
Honorary Consul General Mir Murad Baloch Calls for Skills Development, German Language Training and International Employment Opportunities for Balochistan Youth
QUETTA (K.N) Honorary Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Balochistan Mir Murad Baloch has said that employment opportunities for the youth of Balochistan could be created in Germany and other countries by equipping them with modern skills, enhancing their capabilities and providing them with technical and vocational training in line with the demands of the contemporary world.
He expressed these views during a visit to the office of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA), where he held a meeting with Managing Director Abdul Kabir Zarkoon.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various avenues for strengthening cooperation in youth development, technical and vocational education, and the promotion of skills at the international level.
The discussions focused particularly on organized exchange programmes for youth, capacity-building initiatives, technical skills training and the introduction of German language programmes at relevant institutions to support joint technical and vocational objectives.
It was observed that these initiatives could create international employment opportunities for the youth of Balochistan and improve their access to global educational and professional platforms.
Appreciating the efforts of B-TEVTA in developing a skilled workforce, Mir Murad Baloch emphasized the importance of establishing strong institutional linkages with German technical and vocational education and training institutions.
He said both sides would work towards developing a structured framework for sustainable cooperation in the future. The primary objective of the proposed framework would be to equip the youth of Balochistan with international-standard technical, vocational, language and soft skills.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to creating better opportunities for the youth of Balochistan and further strengthening people-to-people and institutional ties between Germany and Balochistan.
On the occasion, B-TEVTA Managing Director Abdul Kabir Zarkoon briefed Mir Murad Baloch about the authority’s ongoing programmes, organizational scope and efforts to further improve the standard of vocational training in Balochistan in accordance with international standards.
