
Sixth All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Football Gold Cup to Begin on September 20; Secretary Sports Durra Baloch Says Tournament Has Become a Major Platform for Promoting Football and Showcasing Top Talent
QUETTA (K.N) Football fans have received exciting news as the dates for the sixth All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Football Gold Cup have been officially announced. The tournament will commence on September 20, 2026, while the final will be played on October 5.
The announcement was made during an important meeting chaired by Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Balochistan Durra Baloch. Director General Sports Yasar Bazai, Assistant Director Activities Muhammad Asif Lango and office-bearers of the Balochistan Football Association attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the tournament schedule and preparations in detail, including participation of teams, logistics, accommodation for players and officials, ground arrangements and other administrative matters.
It was decided that the Balochistan Football Association would formally invite all prominent and top football teams from across Pakistan to participate in the tournament. The association was also tasked with ensuring the participation of leading teams in the competition.
The meeting also reviewed logistical arrangements, responsibilities of ground committees, accommodation and other facilities for players and officials, as well as all other arrangements required for the successful organization of the event.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Durra Baloch said that the All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Football Gold Cup is counted among the country’s major football events and has emerged as an important platform for promoting football in the province.
She said the tournament brings teams from across the country together with talented and renowned players on a single platform. The objective of the Gold Cup, she added, is to promote football in Balochistan, provide talented players with opportunities to showcase their abilities at the national level and further enhance the province’s presence on Pakistan’s football map.
